2016 MCCAF REVIEW

2016

NOVEMBER

The Red-Crowned Crane Tour delighted Montréal's audience

On November 16th, the international show created by Canadian and Chinese artists, directed by Peter Quanz, performed the Red-Crowned Crane staring Tristan Dobrowney of Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet. This modern ballet had all the elements to bring the audience through a wonderful love story.

SEPTEMBER

On September 30th, China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater performed at the Concordia University's DB Clarke Theater. This famous troupe composed of talented musicians proved to be a true enchantment for both the heart and the ears.

"We are very happy and honoured to have been able to give Montrealers the chance to attend such a refined event, which shows China's music diversity" said MCCAF's President, Susan Xianshu Huang.

The Three Monks production has totally delighted the audience from all ages during the two shows that took place in College Durocher and la Cinquième Salle at Place-des-Arts. The energy and the rightfulness of the four actors' interpretation had given the story the power to ignite our imagination throughout the show.

MCCAF would like to thank Mr. Peng Jintao, China's General Consul in Montréal, for attending the act and providing us with such a great support in all our activities.  Also, we thank all our sponsors and contributors who allowed us to offer this activity to our community.
