Montreal International Dragon Boat Challenge & Cutural Festival

August 22, 2020 , the Fifth Edition of Montreal International Dragon Boat Challenge and Culture Festival cancelled due to COVID-19.

The members of Organizing Committee collected and donated personal protective equipments to local Canadian hospitals at March and April, 2020.

2021 Montreal Chinese New Year Charity Concert

Dear Friends,

 

2021 Montreal Chinese New Year Charity Concert will be held on Feb. 12th at 7:00 pm on YouTube. This Charity Concert is organized by the joint effort of Montreal Chinese Culture & Arts Foundation and Rotary Club of Old Montreal; presented by our Title Sponsor- National Bank of Canada; performed by Chinese Orchestra of China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater; supported by the Chinese Consulate in Montreal.

Funds raised from this concert will be donated to Beijing HanfuEr Foundation to help mentally handicapped children learn some basic living and working skills to be able to live in a society with confidence in themselves.

You can donate through the CanadaHelps link on the YouTube play interface from Feb. 12-28, 2021. Your generosity will bring hope to many mentally handicapped children in China!You will receive the official tax receipt for your kind donation.

On September 17th, the second phase of the Montreal Chinese Cultural Festival - Week of Music, Chess, Calligraphy, Painting and Chinese Tea Ceremony was grandly opened at the Chinatown Chinese Service Center and was a complete success!

2022 Montreal International Dragon Boat Challenge & Cultural Festival

After two year's pandemic, the 2022 Montreal International Dragon Boat Challenge & Cultural Festival will be back on July 2-3, 2022, at Montreal Olympics Bassin!!!

2022 Montreal Chinese New Year Charity Concert

The Montreal Chinese Culture and Arts Foundation and the 2022 Montreal International Dragon Boat Challenge and Dragon Boat Cultural Festival Organizing Committee plan to hold the "Celebrate the Winter Olympics, Celebrate the New Year" 2022 Montreal Chinese New Year Charity Concert during the Beijing Winter Olympics. Scheduled for February 12th, 2022 at 7:30 pm.

CALLS FOR PROJECTS

You have a project to better your community, an idea of a show to help local talents to get known, send your proposal to the Foundation, and we will study it to see if we could give you the support you need. Please ensure you give as many details as you can so we can have a good picture of what you want to achieve.

 

Take note that all projects will be considered as long as they have no offensive, sexual or racist contents, and are of a good taste.
