On June 20, 2026, the 9th Montreal Chinese Dragon Boat Festival, independently organized by the Montreal Chinese Cultural and Arts Foundation (MCCAF), was successfully held on the Lachine Canal. His Excellency Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada, sent a warm congratulatory letter, extending his warmest greetings to all friends attending the 9th Montreal Chinese Dragon Boat Festival in 2026!

In the dragon boat races, participants felt the Chinese spirit of "sharing weal and woe"; in the ancient and elegant intangible cultural heritage exhibition, they appreciated the profoundness of Chinese culture; in the fragrant Chinese food exhibition, they savored the cultural nostalgia of the Dragon Boat Festival; and in the splendid 10th anniversary celebration performances, they witnessed the continuation and contemporary brilliance of Chinese culture overseas.
Unwavering Commitment, Moving Towards the Light – Grand Celebration Held to Mark the 10th Anniversary of the Montreal Chinese Culture and Arts Foundation and the 10th Anniversary of the Montreal Chinese Dragon Boat Festival
On the evening of July 18, 2026, the Montreal Chinese Culture and Arts Foundation (MCCAF) and the Montreal Chinese Dragon Boat Festival held their 10th Anniversary Celebration Dinner at the Holiday Inn Montreal Chinatown.

The entire celebration, themed "Ten Years Together, Grateful for Your Support; Through Thick and Thin, Moving Forward Together," featured a variety of精彩纷呈 (splendid) segments including guest speeches, a ten-year anniversary review, congratulatory videos, artistic performances, and an awards ceremony. The atmosphere was solemn and warm, with gratitude permeating the entire event, overflowing with warmth, unity, and joy.
