TRADE MISSION QUÉBEC-CHINA

Last October, MCCAF's president, Susan Huang, took part to the trade mission Québec-China organized by the Chamber of commerce of Montréal (the World Trade Center Montréal), in partnership with the City of Montréal and Montréal International. This mission, led and presided by Mr. Denis Coderre, mayor of the City of Montréal, aimed to renew the twinning agreement between Shanghai and Montréal and the establishment of the new air link between Montréal and Beijing. This trip was the occasion for MCCAF to do some networking and prospections regarding cultural exchanges between Canada and China.  

In order to build the connection between the Montreal delegates and the entrepreneurs from Tsinghua SEM North America Alumnis, Mrs. Susan Huang organized the first Business meeting for the Montreal delegates on Nov. 1st, right after their arrival to Beijing on Oct. 31st. 50 entrepreneurs attended the Business Meeting, as well as the Canadian Ambassador, Mr. Guy Saint-Jacques, the Mayor of Montréal, Mr. Denis Coderre, the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Montréal, Mr. Michel Leblanc, Mr. Henri-Paul Normandin, Director of International Relations, Mr. Howard Liebman, Special Advisor to the Mayor of Montréal along with 25 delegates from Montreal, Mr. Shaozheng Guo, the President of the Tsinghua SEM North America Alumni Association, the General Secretary Mr. Weidong Ni along with 30 Tsinghua SEM North America Alumnis.
